Ventura Vega Martínez owns the Calleja Estudio website and all of its digital content. The pieces it presents are the work of Juan Manuel Martínez Calleja, their author.
Purpose
This website presents the ceramic work of Juan Manuel Martínez Calleja: his pieces, his process, his path and the place where he works. It is not a shop: nothing is sold or contracted through it.
The pieces are shown for information only and do not constitute an offer. Anyone interested in a piece may write to the studio; any agreement concerning a piece will be made directly with its author.
Use of the website
Access is free of charge and implies acceptance of this notice. Visitors agree to use the website lawfully, without harming its operation or the rights of its owner, of the author of the work or of third parties.
Intellectual property
The pieces shown on this website are works by Juan Manuel Martínez Calleja, as are their original photographs; the rights in them belong to him as their author. The website and the rest of its digital content (design, texts, drawings, logo and layout) belong to Ventura Vega Martínez, except for the images and data by other authors listed in Credits, which are used under their licences.
All of them are protected by the Spanish Intellectual Property Act (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of 12 April). They may not be reproduced, distributed, publicly communicated or transformed, in whole or in part, without the written permission of the rights holder, except where the law allows it, such as private copying or quotation with credit to the source and the author. For any other use, simply ask the studio.
Images
The studio photographs of the pieces, on a white background, have been prepared with AI-assisted digital editing from the original photographs of each piece, which are shown on its page under “In situ”. This is disclosed in accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence.
As with any photograph, colour and finish may vary from screen to screen. If you have any doubt about a piece, please ask the studio.
Some photographs in the Artist section are by other authors and are used under their licences; they accompany the story and do not show the work or the workshop (Credits).

This website links to other sites, such as Instagram. Their content and terms are the responsibility of those who run them; the owner does not control them and is not liable for them, except as provided in Article 17 of the LSSI-CE.
Liability
The owner endeavours to keep the information accurate and the website running without interruption, but cannot guarantee this at all times. The owner is not liable for any damage arising from interruptions, technical errors or misuse of the website, except where the law provides otherwise.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law; where the claimant is a consumer, to the courts of their place of residence.
